The newly employed primary school teachers in Ikorodu Local Government will be formally be inducted by the Local Government Education Authority (LGEA), Ikorodu Local Government on Monday.
The event themed, “Orientation/Onboarding of Newly Employed Teachers”, will hold at the Methodist Primary Scholl, Hall, Allison Street, Ikorodu Garage, Ikorodu, with Mr Babatunde Shoneye, immediate past Education Secretary, Kosofe LGEA, Mrs Otubamowo Adenine, Head of Section, Basic Education Quality Assurance (BEQA), LGEA, Ikorodu and Mr Bamgbelu Adeoye, Head of Section, Administration & Human Resources, LGEA Ikorodu, as facilitators.
Alhaji Taiwo Odumbo speaking with THE IMPACT, said that the orientation programme is meant to integrate the new appointees and guide them in their delivery of excellence in education.

“The orientation programme which is very essential was designed to warmly welcome our new educators and integrate them into our academic community.
“We intend to share our vision, values, and teaching culture, ensuring that they are well-prepared to inspire and impact the lives of our learners.
“This orientation marks the beginning of their journey with us, and we require their active participation to strengthen our collective commitment to excellence in education.”
